Turkish coffee with Sister Lena

Sister Lena and I have been meeting at least twice a month. Meetings with her have been very fun and educational. I have learned much more about her background, and she has learned a lot about me also.

The first time I met with Sister Lena she showed me around her house. We had a very nice, long talk. I learned that Sister Lena and I have many things in common. We both love the beach, and we love helping and giving back to the community.

Every time we meet I learn more about Sister Lena and the Dominican tradition.

Sister Lena has also learned many things about me. She and I had Turkish coffee at her house the last time we met. Turkish coffee is my family’s favorite, and Sister Lena loved it also.

Our next meeting will be soon, and we are both looking forward to the interview.

I feel very honored to be part of this projectm and I am excited to learn more from this experience.
