Thank a Nun: Sister Victoria Marie

I had started at University as Pre-Nursing when I was asked if I would like to go to a program off campus with one of the Sisters. I said yes and a couple days later found myself in a car with Sr. Victoria Marie, who is a nursing instructor. She preceded to ask questions about why I wanted to be a nurse. She knew I had, had health issues in the past and asked about those. After listening to me she told me to take a few Pastoral Ministry classes. She said she thought that was a better fit for the way I want to impact and help people. I am know in my senior year double majoring in Pastoral Ministry and Hospice because she took the time to listen and because she saw something in me. Thank you Sr. Victoria! -Katelyn Dekoski
