T-Shirts and NCSW in a Box!

As we close out 2017, and start planning for NCSW 2018, our team in Minneapolis would like to share with you two exciting initiatives that are in place for this year’s celebration!

First: the NSCW T-Shirt!
Many of your mini-grants have included funds for t-shirts, which we think is a great idea! So much so, that we decided to design two NCSW t-shirts that are available for purchase from Bonfire for this year’s celebration. One of the shirts is exclusively for NCSW 2018, while the other one is undated and can be worn for future NCSWs!

Find both the National Catholic Sisters Week and NCSW2018 shirts through Bonfire and have them delivered straight to you!

Second: NCSW in a Box!
A few years ago, we collaborated with Sr. Debbie Borneman, SS.C.M., over at the National Religious Vocation Conference to send out a NCSW celebration kit to some of the country’s top Newman Centers, with much success. In each celebration kit there was a DVD, some snacks, popcorn, and discussion questions. Newman Center staff was encouraged to use the materials in the box to hold a movie night during the week of NCSW.

We thought that this might be of interest to others not affiliated with Newman Centers, and, in January, will be unveiling the 2018 NCWS program in a Box. Our staff is hard at work to produce two different boxes: one for a movie night program and one for a speed dating with the sisters program that will be available to order from us in late January. The boxes will have everything you need to plan an event from start to finish. They are intended to be a low-cost (you purchase additional snacks) and minimal planning (except for promotion) way to participate in NCSW. Stay tuned for updates!
