I was raised Catholic, but I found my spiritual home at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis, PA. So many there, especially the Sisters, welcomed me into the community as an active participant in my faith. They taught me to be a servant leader, to work against social injustice, and to treat others with compassion. Sr. M. Johnna Ciezobka took me on my first mission trip; Sr. M. Christopher Moore taught me a love of literature and exuded quiet strength; Sr. Melanie Bajorek taught me to find my smile. Now, as an employee at OLSH, I am surrounded by these strong, intelligent, formidable women, whom I admire, and I am grateful for the school they founded, the presence they maintain here, and the privilege of working among them.
