Sister Mary Clare Korb, CSJ Oral History

Sister Mary Clare Korb, CSJ, is a Sister of St. Joseph from St. Paul Minn. She has been with this order for 59 years and next year will celebrate her jubilee. She was born in Calio, North Dakota, but grew up in Montana. Her aunt was also a Sister of St. Joseph and inspired Sister Mary Claire to enter there. Sister Mary Claire finished her degree in teaching here at St. Kate's and taught at various schools here in the Twin Cities. She now teaches English As a Second Language to women from Somalia, Vietnam and Mexico.

About Sarah Haglund

Sarah Haglund is a first year at St. Catherine University. She is double majoring in international relations and political science with a spanish minor. She hopes to become an ambassador someday and to work in policy to improve American relations with other countries. Her hobbies include traveling, debating, reading and spending time with friends. During the Spring of 2015 she was paired with Sister Mary Clare Korb, CSJ; a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
