A safe haven

SisterStory has been a great experience. I feel very honored by and grateful for this amazing opportunity to work with Sister Lena. It is almost the end of the semester, and I am a bit sad that this will be over. However, Sister Lena and I will always keep in touch.

The past five months have been rough with an intense load of classes and work, but chatting with Sister Lena, even over text, has made things easier. She was always a bright spot, a source of serenity and friendship.

Throughout these five months, I have learned so much about myself, my spirituality, Catholicism and Sister Lena. I can truly say that this experience has been life changing. Everything I have learned will stick with me forever.

The class is over, but this doesn’t mean Sister Lena and I will not meet again. We have created a bond that is not easy to break. Even though we might not see each other as often, we are still going to keep the same relationship between us. I am looking forward to summer and future adventures with Sister Lena.
