Opening a new door

Last week of March was all about the preparation for the interview. My friend Anwar and I conducted the interview on Friday, March 30. We interviewed both sisters on the same day.

We arrived at Sister Lena’s apartment at 9 a.m., where she and Sister Eleanor were waiting for us with breakfast and coffee. It was really nice and sweet to have breakfast with the sisters!

After that Anwar and I set up the equipment then began the interview.

I got to learn even more about my sister during the interview. Sister Lena and I have been meeting and we have gotten to know each other very well, but the interview was like a door opener for some parts of Sister Lena’s life. Not only did I learn about Sister Lena, I also learned many things about Sister Eleanor.

So far my experience with SisterStory has been amazing. I am looking forward to doing more activities, and even though the class is nearing the end, Sister Lena and I will keep in touch and continue doing all the fun things we do.
