NCSW2019 National Book Club

I am so pleased to announce that this year, we will be unveiling a new initiative: a virtual, national NCSW Book Club!

This Book Club offers the NCSW community a chance to gather together to discuss a common text. It is our intention to allow our community to have an engaging and fun dialogue about a book that has to do with sisters and their contributions to our local and national communities.

For NCSW 2019, we have chosen If Nuns Ruled the World by Jo Piazza. Jo has been a friend of NCSW since the beginning, and we are so pleased to be able to discuss her book with our community at large.

It is super easy to join! Just get a book and read with us! It’s that easy. If you are part of a larger community, you can also order an NCSW Event in a Box book club kit, which will give you everything you need to hold your book club during March!

We’ll gather together throughout the month of March in our community on Facebook to discuss the book. Each week, we will offer a Facebook Live event with a member of our community – and author Jo Piazza will even join us to discuss her book.

The Facebook group will be open on January 15th. Stay tuned to our January newsletter to find out how to join. Additionally, each week leading up to NCSW, we will do a drawing for a signed copy of If Nuns Ruled the World!

I am looking forward to hosting our NCSW 2019 Book Club and discussing Jo’s book with each of you!
